Our Ward
The Municipality of Chelsea is located within the National Capital Region, approximately 10 km from the Ontario/Québec provincial border (north of Gatineau, west of the Gatineau River and Cantley, east of Pontiac, and south of La Pêche). Nestled in the natural beauty of the Gatineau hills, the area attracts many visitors. The Gatineau Park is the largest green space in the region providing outdoor enthusiasts with recreational activities year round. Chelsea has a rich history and has many businesses that serve local residents and visitors.
Ward 2 is one of six wards in the Municipality, highlighted in yellow on the map. The Association has divided the ward into eight different neighbourhoods as follows: 1 Acre, Chelsea Creek, Chelsea Park, Chelsea Village, Hendrick Farm, Meech Lake, Meredith, and Old Chelsea. In addition, a main entrance and Visitor Centre for the Gatineau Park are within Ward 2.
